Where to get 4.1 ipsw

I want to unlock my iphone 3GS version 4. This thing is happening since i was on 3. Please tell me is that a sign of an unlocked iphone??? My iPhone is 3Gs 3. I then jailbroke it using Greenpo1son. This works perfectly, I can now download all new apps and HD backgrounds etc. I have an Iphone 3g unlocked and jailbreak this days my cydia is not working not connecting , my frend told me to uninstall and install cydia again but then am told that I will loose all my datas including my contacts , ipod and messeges, can some one please help me? I treid to restore it again using the firmware on this site but I got the error in both DFU and Restore mode. I then tried to use Redsn0w to attempt to flash to 4.

In a last ditch effort,I used redsn0w again to bring the phone in DFU mode and then use itunes 10 to do a restore using the firmware on this site… my 3g is now on 4.
