Can i enchant blade of woe

To upgrade anything in the Elder Scrolls games, players are required to gather certain materials which are used in the process. Usually, for weapons and armors, ingots made from different metals are required. While most items can be upgraded in this way, some items cannot, especially those which are unique.

Fortunately, players can upgrade the Blade of Woe at any grindstone to make it even more deadly. However, upgrading the Blade of Woe does not require any material whatsoever.

In Oblivion , players are given an unenchanted Blade of Woe when they are invited to join the Brotherhood. In Skyrim , there are multiple ways to get the dagger, including one which doesn't require joining the faction. During the quest, "With Friends Like These," players can simply kill Astrid and loot the dagger off her body. Alternatively, they can pickpocket her using the Misdirection perk. Otherwise, players can get the dagger as a reward during the Dark Brotherhood quest, "Death Incarnate.

In Oblivion , players get the unenchanted version of the Blade when they join. Other than the name, the dagger appears to be a regular Ebony Dagger. However, the unenchanted version of the blade can still damage Ghosts and Wraiths if players use it to attack them.

Regardless of the enchantments, players can still use the dagger as an effective weapon against Ghosts. Increase the enchantment amount from to or higher, so that it has more charges. I have modified a few items like that myself, so they don't run out of charges with a handful of uses. Oh the charges in the blade of woe enchantments is also dictated by the enchanting skills? Huh Originally posted by Bomb Bloke :. Drinkcup View Profile View Posts. Originally posted by Buff Chick :.

Off Topic x 1. Perkless in Skyrim Bad to the Dragonbone. Well, you're comparing a lucky steel dagger to a Daedric artifact. I would choose Mehrune's Dagger just for all the crap I had to go through to get it. Agree x 4. I usually factor in the looks of the dagger because even an iron dagger can do massive amounts of damage with a 30x multiplier, so it better look good. Valdr's Lucky Dagger can be used with the Elemental Fury shout and it's the only dagger that you can get a crit hit while sneak backstabbing, and it stacks.

Blade of Woe is the highest base damage dagger, I'd say it would be the best if its enchantment weren't so weak. With my sneak character I dual wielded the lucky dagger and the razor haha. SkinnedLikeScum Dragon Slayer. I believe the best answer to give is. Left hand Blade of Woe, Right hand Mehrune's dagger. Think about it with dual wielding perks your swinging unpleasantly fast. Regardless your just neck slicing and head scissoring anyway. So ultimately your choice. I've tried both for a while, and there is something very satisfying about Valdr's Lucky Dagger getting the critical hit bonus way more often then the insta-kill from Mehrune's Razor.

Haven't got the Blade of Woe yet Mehrunes dagger in that contest, but overall blade of woe dual wielded. Schendi New Member. Although Blade of Woe seems to be bugged with a slower attack speed and not being affected by the dual flurry perk. Sadly I don't find any accurate recources. Testing, someone? Like x 1.
